Renew Yourself goes YouTube!

On Wedensday night I stayed up till 3:00 in the morning brian storming my next project. I have officially started a YouTube Channel! I did my first video yesterday. It literally took me 5-6 hours between recording it and editing, but I have to say I am very project of my first video. I did a Fourth of July tutorial. I created four different Fourth of July inspired looks from my closet.

DIY: American Flag Pocket Shorts

Fourth of July is around the corner! If you don’t have a cute outfit to wear to all the barbques and Fourth of July parties, dont worry because you can make your own. Take you old jean short and vamp them up! I took my old jean shorts and turned one of the pockets into an American Flag! Here are all the steps and supplies you will need!

Supplies:

• American Flag Fabric
• Needle and Thread or Fabric Glue
• Fabric Scissors
• Jeans Shorts

 

Steps:

• Step 1: Cut out one of the back pockets with a pair of fabric scissors
• Step 2: Measure out the pocket and trace it onto the fabric with chalk or a sharpie. Cut out the traced out pocket.
• Step 3: Sew the pocket onto the shorts with the needle and thread. You can also use fabric glue to place the pocket.

With three easy steps you have “renewed” your old jean shorts.
